Ben Conachan

Ben Conachan serves as a pastor at Pearl Church in Portland, Oregon, as well as a spiritual director.

Ben shares:

What gets me out of bed in the morning? My passion for creating safe spaces where people can explore what matters most to them; drawing connections between faith, work, sexuality and creativity; pastoring a small local church toward a peaceful way of being in the world; and caring for my perfect dog, Ari.

I believe in loving dialogue because when people experience being heard and seen, known and valued even by those who disagree with them on profoundly important matters, we all benefit. All of us experience that our common belonging with one another is so deep that it can be trusted to see us through the vulnerable work of relationship.
