Throughout the biblical narrative, God is characterized as being a God of justice and righteousness. God’s people are invited to participate in the work of bringing full flourishing to all people. Standing with, caring for and identifying with vulnerable people—widows and orphans, immigrants and prisoners, the powerless and the poor— are hallmarks of Christian faithfulness. What can we learn from vulnerable people to better understand the heart of God? What does justice look like? These initiatives help Christians go deeper, to fuel a lifelong commitment to justice.
