Open House with Nikole Lim

Nikole Lim is a documentary filmmaker, Founder and International Director of Freely in Hope, and author of the new book Liberation Is Here: Women Uncovering Hope in a Broken World.

“There aren’t many non-white-male-centric models for intercultural ministry, leadership, communications, missions work,” explains Lim, a third-generation Chinese American woman. After a decade of film work and launching a nonprofit, during which she experienced a frightening bout with burnout and illness, she came to a new framework for how to pursue intercultural work: a survivor-led approach to community transformation.

Eavesdrop on her honest and upbeat conversation with Andre Henry and New Activist podcast host Eddie Kaufholz.
