Chair of the Board

Kathy KA Khang

Kathy KyoungAh Khang is currently serving as a regional multiethnic ministries director with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF)/USA. Kathy is one of the authors of More Than Serving Tea (InterVarsity Press, 2006), and she continues to write on her personal blog, More than Serving Tea. She is also a contributing blogger at Sojourners, as well as Next Gener.Asian Church. Before going into full-time vocational ministry with IVCF/USA, Kathy aspired to change the world as a newspaper reporter. Her time in the newsroom, combined with an invitation to participate in The Poynter Institute’s journalism ethics forum, further pressed her to consider how her passion for writing would be integrated into living out her faith in Jesus. Kathy was invited to the L2 Foundation’s Leaders Forum and has been a part of The Daniel Project—InterVarsity’s executive leadership development program—first as a participant and most recently as an instructor and mentor. Kathy has been a guest speaker and lecturer at Wheaton College, Moody Bible Institute, and Trinity Evangelical Seminary, and she is a popular IVCF chapter speaker across the country.
