Giving Thanks for CSA

To celebrate Thanksgiving this week, we asked leaders around the country to share why they are grateful for CSA and our work. We got back five inspiring videos highlighting a range of programs. I'm deeply grateful to Christians for Social Action for strengthening my understanding of the God of justice and showing me how to give legs to my faith.

The primary thing I'm grateful to CSA for is the way they honor and embrace people of different points of view and bring them into a room to see the humanity in one another.

They helped us make sense of our Christian discipleship and our American citizenship, particularly as we moved through this election season.

One of the most valuable and powerful experiences is to be able to sit with someone you don't look like and have differences of opinion and say, "I don't agree with you, but I want you to know you are loved, and I want to hear your story, and I want you to hear mine."

I can always count on 20 Minute Takes to break down really complicated big ideas into something I can think about and perhaps even act on. Thank you, CSA!
