Brad Wong is lead pastor of The River Church Community in San Jose, California. He brings his background in Ignatian spirituality, as well as his passion for people, to his role as spiritual director for Oriented to Love.
Brad shares:
What gets me out of bed in the morning are friendship, deep conversation, reading, cross-cultural experiences, good food, and physical exercise . . . all as expressions of and entryways into the realm of the Kingdom of God.
I believe in loving dialogue because the Kingdom of God operates on the premise that every individual is of incalculable value. Because meaningful conversation about sexual ethics is painfully rare. And because we need to heal the terrible wounds and divisions that come from our mistreatment of sexual minorities if we are to bear the image of Christ in the world.
CSA is a group of Christian scholar-activists, stirring the imagination for a fuller expression of Christian faithfulness and a more just society.
