Justice Issues

Throughout the biblical narrative, God is characterized as being a God of justice and righteousness. God’s people are invited to participate in the work of bringing full flourishing to all people. Standing with, caring for and identifying with vulnerable people — widows and orphans, immigrants and prisoners, the powerless and the poor — are hallmarks of Christian faithfulness.

At Christians for Social Action, our justice issues are focused areas where faith and justice intersect. Each one invites us to explore how Christian faith calls us to stand with the vulnerable, seek justice, and live with gospel-rooted hope. These aren’t just causes — they are invitations to go deeper, to cultivate practices that fuel a lifelong commitment to justice.

Each initiative also embodies values of community, peacemaking, and holistic ministry.

They help us discern what faithful presence looks like in the world today and where the Spirit may be calling us to act.

Here, you’ll find issues that matter deeply to God and to us: places where the Church can show up, where theology meets lived experience, and where we are invited to join in God’s work of restoration and hope.
