When I look at the church, what gives me hope?
When I look at the church, I see a people striving in the Spirit to love God and neighbor in faithful effective ways. We often don’t get it right, but my hope lies in the longsuffering of God who extends transforming grace to us all. My hope is in the God who believes in us! My hope is in the God whose liberating word goes out in, through, and in spite of us.
